People in the affected area no longer need to boil their water before drinking or cooking.
Water samples were tested by a certified lab, and the results show that the water is now safe for
drinking and cooking.

The boil water advisory has been lifted effective 5:00 PM on February 4, 2026. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

Citizens are advised that the Town is currently under a Boil Water Advisory until further notice. This advisory is being issued as a precaution to protect public health. Residents should boil all water used for drinking, cooking, and oral hygiene. For questions or additional information, please contact Town Hall. Thank you

Please be advised that water service has been temporarily turned off due to a leak on the main water line. At this time, we do not have an estimated time for when service will be fully restored.

The Town of Blackville Public Works Department is actively working to repair the leak and restore water service as quickly and safely as possible. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
