Due to an emergency fire hydrant repair, customers may experience low water pressure beginning today at **2:00 PM** and continuing until approximately **5:00 PM**.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience as crews work to complete the necessary repairs as quickly and safely as possible.

PUBLIC NOTICE

Residents,

Due to utility work conducted last night, including the replacement of a few fire hydrants throughout town, water service was interrupted from approximately 10:00 p.m. until 2:30 a.m.

As a result of this work, some customers may experience temporary water discoloration. If you notice discoloration, please allow your cold water to run for 1 to 2 minutes, or until the water runs clear.

As a precautionary measure, a Boil Water Advisory has been issued and will remain in effect until further notice. Residents are advised to boil water intended for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or preparing food.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to improve our water system.

CAUSE OF THIS ADVISORY: Hydrant replacement

People in the affected area are advised to vigorously boil their water for one full minute before drinking or cooking until further notice. This advisory was issued due to a service interruption in the affected area.

Don’t use ice made from unboiled water for drinking.
We are working to fix the problem as quickly as possible.

You will be notified once the water has been tested and deemed safe to use.
