Welcome to Historic Blackville SC
On behalf of the Town Council and the Community, welcome to Blackville. It is a pleasure to have you visit our town via the World Wide Web. Blackville is a quiet community that has a lot to offer. We are located just 45 miles Northeast of Augusta, Georgia on US Highway 78 and 48 miles South of Columbia, South Carolina on SC Highway 3. We are the home of Miller's Bread-Basket with his famous home made bread and the Healing Springs with it's long standing free flowing cool water wells.
Come and walk through the great outdoors at the Barnwell State Park found on SC Highway 3 just outside of Blackville. It is a great destination for fishermen, outdoor lovers from around the world and perfect for quiet strolls or family outings. Please come and take the time to visit and enjoy a tour of the town and its historical landmarks like the Healing Springs, Old Court House Square, Carolina Bay and Folklore are just a few of the many interesting characteristics of Blackville. So settle back for just a moment and take a look at our web site and enjoy some of the rich splendor of our small town. Blackville is also the home of the National Football League's Superbowl XXXVI (36) and XXXVIII (38) Champion New England Patriot's WR Mr. Troy Brown and Champion Cyclist Mr. Jeff May.
As you can tell we are proud of our people and community, so please take this opportunity to look inside and get to know us a little better. This website is an investment in our community and I hope you will find the information you need to plan your trip to Blackville. We trust your visit to Blackville will be memorable and safe as we look to have you come back again and again.
Mayor Michael Beasley
